LSUS’ season came to an end Friday evening as the Pilots fell to Georgetown College, 92-78, in the first round of the NAIA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym.

LSU Shreveport men's basketball head coach Kyle Blankenship has been named the recipient of the 2025 NABC Guardians of the Game Award for Leadership, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Tuesday.
The LSUS men's basketball team is headed to the 2025 NAIA Men’s Basketball Tournament as the No. 15 and will take on Georgetown College in the Georgetown, Tenn., bracket on March 14.
The LSUS Pilots saw their season come to an end in the first round of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men’s Basketball Tournament, falling to Texas A&M University-Texarkana, 88-67, on Friday morning.

The Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) has recognized five LSUS Pilots for their outstanding performances this season. Headlining the selections is Taj Anderson, who earned a spot on the RRAC First Team, while Trey Boston, Davion Coleman, and Tyler Washington were named to the Second Team.
