Anderson Drops 41 and Men's Basketball Wins Big

Shreveport, LA – The LSUS Men's Basketball team (16-10) dominated the Texas A&M San Antonio Jaguars on Tuesday night, securing a 117-67 victory in front of a roaring home crowd. The Pilots were led by an explosive performance from senior guard Taj Anderson, who put on a show with 41 points, including an impressive 9-of-16 shooting from beyond the arc.

The game was a statement win for LSUS, as they shot an incredible 60.9% from the field and 54.5% from three-point range, overwhelming the Jaguars at every turn. Anderson's hot shooting performance highlighted an all-around team effort, as the Pilots found success both offensively and defensively throughout the night.

Anderson's remarkable shooting display was complemented by a strong performance from Tyler Washington, who contributed 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting and 5-of-10 from three. The Pilots also saw key contributions from Davion Coleman (11 points, 3 assists), and Hayden Brittingham, who added 12 points off the bench.

Despite the Jaguars' efforts, including 16 points from Paul Minjoth and 14 points from Felix Greif, the game was never in doubt as LSUS maintained a commanding lead throughout the second half.

The Pilots are now 16-10 on the season and continue to build momentum as they push towards the postseason. They will return to action this Saturday against OLLU at 3pm at home.
