New Orleans, LA. – The LSUS Pilots women's tennis team delivered an impressive performance at the recent ITA Gulf Region Tournament, showcasing their skill and determination on the court.

Daniella Maldonado fought valiantly in the semifinals of the consolation bracket, ultimately falling short but demonstrating her tenacity and competitive spirit. Her journey through the tournament highlighted her growth and resilience, traits that promise a bright future for the talented athlete.

Meanwhile, Pierina Lescher made an outstanding run in the main draw, reaching the semifinals before her match concluded 6-7, 4-6. Lescher's exceptional performance throughout the tournament solidified her status as a formidable competitor and a key player for the Pilots this season.
