SHREVEPORT, LA – The LSUS women's soccer team (13-3-0, 10-1-0 RRAC) claimed a solid 2-0 victory over the Texas A&M University-Texarkana Eagles on Saturday, adding another impressive win to their season record.
After a scoreless first half, the Pilots found their rhythm in the second half. Diana Godines opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, finishing off a well-placed assist from Juliana Anchondo. Just five minutes later, Anchondo returned the favor, netting the second goal for the Pilots off an assist from Godines, giving LSUS a 2-0 lead that would hold for the remainder of the match.

The Pilots will look to continue their winning momentum in their next match on Tuesday, October 31, when they face Texas College in Tyler, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 PM.
