Godines Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

WACO, Texas – Diana Godines of LSU Shreveport (La.) was recognized as the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 23-29. This is the sixth set of conference awards for the 2024 women's soccer season.
Godines limited scoring opportunities for Pilots opponents in a 2-0 week. The junior midfielder from Houston helped hold UHV to two shots on goal in a 3-0 victory and HT to three shots on goal in a 2-0 triumph. Godines also netted a goal in both matches. LSUS improved to 4-0 in the RRAC and 7-2 overall.
