Victoria, TX – The LSUS Pilots delivered an impressive performance against the UHV Jaguars, securing a decisive 3-0 win on Saturday. With this victory, the Pilots improved their overall record to 6-2 and maintained an undefeated conference record of 3-0. The team showcased exceptional teamwork and skill, with standout plays that kept the Jaguars on the defensive throughout the match. As the Pilots continue to delve deeper into the season, they aim for ultimate success in upcoming games.

The match began with an aggressive offensive strategy from the Pilots, highlighted by early corner kicks and shots on goal. In the 17th minute, Diana Godines opened the scoring with a powerful shot, marking her third goal of the season and putting LSUS ahead 1-0. The team maintained pressure, with standout performances from Gemma White and Yuvia Vazquez, who consistently challenged the Jaguars' defense.

Just before halftime, in the 36th minute, Gisell Jimenez found the net, scoring her fourth goal of the season and extending the lead to 2-0. The Pilots headed into the break with momentum and a clear game plan.

The second half continued in similar fashion, with the Pilots dominating possession. In the 66th minute, Diana Leon added to the scoreline with her first goal of the season, bringing the score to 3-0 and effectively sealing the match.
