With the win the Pilots improve their conference record to 4-1-2 and an overall record of 6-3-2.
The first half of the game was a tense battle, with both teams giving it their all to gain the upper hand. Despite their best efforts, neither the Pilots nor the Wildcats managed to find the back of the net, and the scoreboard remained deadlocked at 0-0 after the first 45 minutes of play.
