Women's Soccer Ground the Eagles of Southwestern Christian, 4-1.

Bethany, Oklahoma—The Pilot Women's Soccer Team continued their winning ways Thursday morning as they took to the pitch against the Eagles of Southwestern Christian and came out victorious. With the 4-1 win the Pilots move to an overall record of 2-0 on the season while the Eagles fall to 0-1.

The Pilots struck early in the first half as Dawniella Torres slotted a ball to Chelsea Brown for her to send into the back of the net in the second minute of the match. The Pilots worked hard to maintain possession as Brown found the back of the net in the 12' with some help from Maja Nikolic. With a 2-0 lead the Pilots continued to pound at the door. Their third goal was netted by Reva Ros off a flick from Abbie Rutledge lifting them to a 3-0 lead to end the half. The Pilots outshot the Eagles 7-to-2 in the first half with each goalkeeper making once save each.

The Eagles found a footing in the second half as they and the Pilots clashed. It was a battle for possession, but a foul outside of the Pilot 18-yard box put the Eagles in scoring position. A well-struck free kick took the clean sheet away from the Pilots bringing the score line to 3-1. The battle for possession ensued as the two teams grappled for the ball. The Pilots ended the scoring on the day as Torres collected a goal of her own with a setup from Paulina Fierro. The game ended 4-1 as the Pilots outshot the Eagles 11-5. Carlota Alcalde collects the win as she faced three shots and snagged two saves.

Head coach Clark Charlestin said of the match, "We managed the game fairly well. We are still looking at ways to get the most out of our roster, but we will take the positive and keep building that momentum."

The Lady Pilots will be back in action Saturday August 26^th as they take on the Drovers of the University of Science & Arts (O.K.). Kickoff is set for 9:00am CT from McLaughlin Field in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
