Helena Galunic Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Louisiana State University Shreveport student-athlete, Helena Galunic, a senior forward from Zagreb, Croatia, showcased her all-around talent in Pilots' commanding 100-60 victory over Louisiana Christian during the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1. Galunic was a force on both ends of the court, tallying 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. She also anchored the Pilots' defense with four steals and a blocked shot, helping limit their opponent to just 60 points.

Galunic, who is averaging 11.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game this season, has been instrumental in LSUS's strong start.
