Women's Basketball Secures Twentieth Straight Conference Win

Stafford, Texas—In a commanding victory, the LSU women's basketball team, known as the Pilots, soared past the North American University Mustangs with a final score of 90 to 74. With the win the Pilots move to an overall record 24-2 and 20-0 in conference.
Maintaining their season-long prowess, the Pilots took an early lead in the first quarter, securing a 22 to 15 advantage. Throughout the game, the Pilots demonstrated remarkable efficiency, shooting 34 for 72 from the field, including two successful three-pointers, and capitalizing on 20 of 26 free throw attempts.
Tyquanna Ross showcased her scoring prowess, leading the team with 16 points, supported by Destanee Roblow and Skyler Christmas, who contributed 13 points each. Roblow's impressive performance included five field goals and three successful free throws, along with nine rebounds. Christmas displayed her all-around game with a 4-12 shooting performance and 5-9 accuracy from the free throw line. Kenyal Perry and Sharayah Johnson also made significant contributions, finishing with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Despite a spirited effort from the Mustangs, particularly in the third and fourth quarters, the Pilots' consistent performance secured their victory, highlighting their dominance on the court.
The Pilots will be back in action Thursday February 22nd as they take on the Mustangs of Southwest. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm from The Dock in Shreveport, Louisiana.
