Pilots Put Up Second Straight Triple Digit Score

Shreveport, Louisiana— In a dominating performance, LSU Shreveport Pilots secured a decisive victory over the Huston-Tillotson Rams, with a final score of 104-70.  With the win the Pilots move to 15-0 on conference and 19-2 overall.

 

The Pilots maintained control right from the start, establishing a strong lead in the first quarter with 26 points while limiting the Rams to just nine. The momentum continued in the second quarter, where the Pilots added 31 more points, entering halftime with a commanding 57-22 lead.

 

Though the Rams showed determination in the third quarter, narrowing the gap, the Pilots maintained their edge, putting up 20 points. In the final quarter, the Rams fought back, winning the period 30-27, but the Pilots secured the overall victory.

 

Kenyal Perry led the Pilots' scoring effort with an impressive 17 points, shooting flawlessly from the field and making key contributions at the free-throw line. Derrica Gilbert closely followed with 15 points, showcasing her skills with two three-pointers. Skyler Christmas and Tanishia Hairston also made significant contributions, contributing to the Pilots' well-rounded victory.

 

The Pilots will be back in action Thursday February 8th as they take on the Bulldogs of Jarvis Christian. Too-off is set for 5:30pm CT from Hawkins Texas.
