Women's Basketball Edges Out the Generals

Alexandria, Louisiana—In a thrilling matchup, the Pilots women's basketball team secured a nail-biting 74-73 victory against the LSUA Generals. With the win the Pilots move to 11-0 in conference and 15-2 overall on the season.

Despite a slow start, trailing 13-17 in the first quarter, the Pilots rallied. The second quarter saw both teams neck and neck, but the Generals held a 38-34 lead at halftime. The Pilots surged in the third quarter, outscoring their opponents 23-19, setting the stage for a tense fourth quarter.

 In the final moments, the Pilots emerged triumphant with a one-point edge, securing the thrilling win. 

Tiarra Tillison led the charge with 14 points, including two crucial three-pointers. Skyler Christmas contributed 12 points, while Tyquanna Ross added 10, cementing a well-fought victory for the Pilots.

The Pilots will be back in action Saturday January 27th as they take on the Wildcats of Louisiana Christian. Tip-off is set for 2:00pm from Pineville, Louisiana.
