Women's Basketball Receiving Votes in Latest Top 25 Poll

Kansas City, Missouri—The Pilots have battled through the season taking on many top tier competitors, doing all they can to gain national recognition. The NAIA released Wednesday morning the latest top 25 poll and the Pilots are working their way to the list. The Women's basketball team currently sits with an overall record of 6-2 and a conference record of 2-0.
The poll comes out following a Pilot victory over the Bearcats of Rust College who were ranked number 25. Redemption over the Bearcats and a victory over the Panthers of Philander Smith have put the Pilots on the national radar headed into the holiday break.
The Lady Pilots are currently led by Destanee Roblow on the scoreline as she averages 11.4 points per game as well as 9.4 rebounds per game. Alexis Brown follows closely behind with 9.4 points per game while Tahjea Smith sits second with 6.6 rebounds per game.
The Pilots will be back in action Thursday December 14th as they take on the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake in a conference matchup at 5:30pm in San Antonio.
