Women's Basketball Put the Wildcats to Bed

Shreveport, Louisiana — In a dominant performance, the LSU Shreveport Pilots soared past the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats with a final score of 86-57. With the win the Pilots love to an overall record of 5-2 and a conference record of 2-0.

The Pilots set the tone in the first quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 28-13, shooting 11-18 from the field with two threes and making 4-6 free throws. The momentum continued into the second quarter, with the Pilots extending their lead to 48-30 at halftime, going 8-16 from the field with two threes and 2-2 on free throws.

The Pilots maintained their control in the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 20-17 and 18-10 in the third and fourth quarters. Five Pilots achieved double-digit scores, led by Destanee Roblow with 17 points, an impressive 8-9 from the field, eight rebounds, and one steal. Tyquanna Ross contributed 13 points, going 5-8 from the field, 3-3 on free throws, along with six rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

Kenyal Perry and Tiarra Tillison each added 12 points, with Perry securing nine rebounds and two steals, while Tillison went 5-6 from the field, including one three-pointer, and made 1-1 at the line. Alexis Brown rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 points, shooting 4-10 with two three-pointers and one made free throw. The collective effort showcased the Pilots' prowess on both ends of the court, securing a convincing victory over the Wildcats.

The Pilots will be back in action December 7th as they take on the Bearcats of Rust College. Tip-off is set for 6:00pm from The Dock in Shreveport, Louisiana.
