Kyle McLeish is a passionate and driven football coach from Maidstone, England, currently serving as the goalkeeper coach for the nationally ranked No. 12 Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) men’s soccer program. At LSUS, McLeish works closely with collegiate athletes across all positions, with a particular emphasis on goalkeepers. His responsibilities include leading and designing both position-specific and team-based training sessions, analyzing match footage, and providing detailed performance feedback to players and staff. Dedicated to fostering growth both on and off the field, he supports the technical and tactical development of athletes while contributing to the overall success of a highly competitive collegiate program.

Before beginning his coaching career, McLeish built an impressive playing résumé that started in England’s youth academies and extended into U.S. collegiate and semi-professional soccer. He trained with the Soccer Elite Academy from ages 4 to 16 and spent two years in the Crystal Palace Academy’s elite system, later being scouted again by Crystal Palace, as well as by Brighton, Ipswich, Chelsea, Millwall, and Leyton Orient. He represented Kent County, winning a U14 national championship and earning selections for the U16–U18 squads, in addition to receiving a nomination for England Schoolboys. McLeish made his semi-professional debut at age 16 with K Sports (SCEFL) before continuing his career in the United States. At Genesee Community College, he earned NJCAA Player of the Week honors, All-Region and All-Conference selections, and helped his team reach the national quarterfinals and finals. He later competed for Blue Goose SC in USL2 before joining LSUS, where he was named to the Red River Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, earned Player of the Week honors twice, and helped the Pilots achieve a national ranking of No. 13.
