Liahagen-Kolnes Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

WACO, Texas – LSU Shreveport junior goalkeeper Sondre Liahagen-Kolnes has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Liahagen-Kolnes anchored the Pilots' defense in a 2-0 road victory over John Brown University (Ark.) on Tuesday, recording a save in full time to secure the clean sheet. His steady presence in net helped LSUS capture its second consecutive win as the Pilots climbed to No. 14 in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

The shutout marks another strong outing for Liahagen-Kolnes, whose consistency continues to guide the Pilots during their early-season run.

The Pilots will be back in action in The Swamp on Thursday, Sept. 25, when they host Texas A&M-Victoria at 3:30 p.m.
