Pilots Move Up to No. 14 in Latest NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll

SHREVEPORT, La. – The LSU Shreveport men's soccer team has earned national recognition once again, climbing to No. 14 in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll released Wednesday.
The Pilots (2-0-5) moved up one spot in the rankings following a strong stretch that included their first win of the season, a 3-1 victory over the University of Mobile last Friday night in The Swamp. LSUS continued its momentum on Tuesday with a 2-0 road win at John Brown University, securing back-to-back victories and showcasing their resilience after opening the year with five consecutive draws.
Two of those early-season results came against Top 10 opponents, as LSUS battled both Oklahoma Wesleyan and William Carey (Miss.) to ties, further proving the Pilots' ability to compete with the nation's best.
LSUS now looks ahead to the start of Red River Athletic Conference play, hosting Texas A&M-Victoria on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. in The Swamp.
