Thomas, Marchany Named to NAIA Men’s Soccer All-American Third Team

SHREVEPORT, La. – Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) men's soccer players Jack Thomas and Caleb Marchany have been honored as members of the NAIA Men's Soccer All-American Third Team, following a record-setting season for the Pilots.

Thomas, a dynamic forward, concluded the 2024 season with an impressive 16 goals, five assists, and 37 total points. A key offensive threat, Thomas' achievements earned him a spot on the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) First Team. He now holds multiple LSUS program records, including shots on goal, career goals, and career points, solidifying his place as one of the most prolific players in school history.

Marchany, a stalwart defender, was named the RRAC Defensive Player of the Year while also earning a place on the RRAC First Team. His leadership and defensive prowess were instrumental in anchoring the Pilots' backline, contributing to their formidable performances throughout the season.

Together, Thomas and Marchany helped lead the Pilots to an extraordinary 2024 campaign. LSUS finished with a 14-5-4 overall record, including an undefeated 11-0-2 mark in RRAC play. Their dominance in conference competition earned them the RRAC Regular Season Championship.
