LSUS Men's Soccer Ranked No. 19 in Final NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll; Secures Spot in National Tournament
SHREVEPORT, La. – The Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) men's soccer team has earned a No. 19 national ranking in the final NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll of the regular season. The Pilots capped off a remarkable season by clinching the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Regular Season Championship with an impressive 12-2-4 overall record and a stellar 11-0-2 mark in league play.

With this national ranking and regular season championship, LSUS qualified for a berth in the NAIA Men's National Soccer Tournament. The team's journey continues this Friday, November 8, when the Pilots take on Our Lady of the Lake University in a RRAC Men's Soccer Tournament quarterfinal match, set to kick off at 2 p.m.

The Pilots' success this season has been driven by standout performances across the field. Forward Jack Thomas has been instrumental, breaking the LSUS records for most career goals (24) and career points (57), solidifying his place as one of the team's all-time top performers.

Reflecting on the team's achievements, captain Liam Vivian expressed pride in the national recognition the Pilots have received. "The team is happy with the national recognition after a long time coming. We are ready and focused for the postseason. The team is looking forward to taking this program to the next level," said Vivian.

As they head into the postseason, LSUS aims to build on its remarkable season, representing both the university and the RRAC on the national stage.
