Pilots Secure 1-0 Victory Over Eagles

SHREVEPORT, La. -- The LSUS men's soccer team continued their impressive season with a 1-0 victory over Texas A&M University Texarkana on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Pilots improve their season record to 12-2-3 overall and remain undefeated in Red River Athletic Conference play at 11-0-1.

The lone goal of the match came in the 50th minute, as Joel Trueb found the back of the net to give LSUS the decisive lead. Trueb's effort was backed by strong defensive work from the Pilots' backline, as well as the steady performance of goalkeeper Kyle Mcleish, who made three crucial saves to keep Texarkana off the scoreboard.

Texarkana's goalkeepers David Yearwood and Seth Brown combined for eight saves in the contest.

The Pilots now look ahead to their next challenge, as they travel to Tyler, Texas, to face Texas College on October 31 at 3:30 p.m.
