Pilots Men's Soccer Triumphs Over Paul Quinn College 7-0

SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Louisiana State University Shreveport men's soccer team delivered an impressive performance on Saturday, defeating Paul Quinn College 7-0 in a commanding display at home. The Pilots showcased their offensive prowess and teamwork, leaving no doubt about their dominance on the pitch.

The scoring opened early when Guillermo Ferreiro found the back of the net in the 12th minute, assisted by Alex Golder and Brandon Gasper. Just a minute later, Liam Vivian struck twice in quick succession, scoring goals in the 13th and 15th minutes, putting LSUS firmly in control.

Golder added to the tally in the 22nd minute with another goal, this time assisted by Gasper. Jack Thomas extended the lead further with a goal in the 29th minute, bringing the score to 5-0 at halftime.

The second half continued in the same fashion, with Kodai Tanaka scoring in the 48th minute off an assist from Vivian. Fillipo Ascani capped off the scoring with a goal in the 84th minute, assisted by Thomas.

With this impressive victory, the Pilots are now set to return to The Swamp on Saturday, October 26, at 3:30 p.m., where they will host Texas A&M-Texarkana.
