Mcleish Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week

WACO, Texas – Kyle Mcleish of LSU Shreveport (La.) garnered the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for the week of September 16th-22nd. This is the fifth set of conference winners for the 2024 men's soccer season.

Mcleish snared 14 saves while tending goal in two Pilot victories last week. The senior from Maidstone, England, collected five saves in a 2-1 win over Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas), and he racked up nine in an identical 2-1 triumph over Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Mcleish is tied for third in the conference with 22 saves. LSUS is off to a 2-0 start in the RRAC with a 3-2-2 record for the season.
