Bonsall Named as RRAC Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 18-24

Waco, Texas— The RRAC announced their fifth set of conference awards for the week of September 18th-24th. Ashton Bonsall of the Pilots Men's soccer team came out victorious as he was named the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week. 

Bonsall found himself with two starts on the week as he picked up two wins. The freshman from Brisbane, Australia picked up a 2-1 victory against the Jaguars of Houston-Victoria while snagging four saves before garnering a clean sheet in a 7-0 win over the Rams of Huston-Tillotson.

The Pilots and Bonsall sport a conference record of 3-1 and an overall season record of 5-3-1. They will be back in action Thursday September 28th as they travel down to New Orleans to take on the Gold Rush of Xavier. Kick off is set for 3:30pm CT from New Orleans, Louisiana.
