Hill Named RRAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Shreveport senior guard Tahjae Hill has been named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for Feb. 17-23, following a stellar performance in the Pilots' upset victory over top-ranked LSU Alexandria.
Hill led the charge in LSUS's 101-96 win on Thursday, closing out the regular season with a game-high 27 points. The Hilton, N.Y., native showcased his efficiency, shooting 8-of-10 from the field, including two three-pointers, and going a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line. In addition to his scoring prowess, Hill contributed across the board with five rebounds, three assists, and a blocked shot, helping the Pilots secure a crucial conference win.
With the victory, LSUS (18-10 overall, 15-9 RRAC) locked in the No. 5 seed for the upcoming RRAC Men's Basketball Tournament, where the Pilots will take on Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Friday, Feb. 28. Tip off is set for 8 a.m.
