Washington Named RRAC Player of the Week for January 15-21

Shreveport, Louisiana— Tyler Washington went off for the Pilots the week of January 15th-21st in a two-game win week for the Pilots. With the two performances Washington found himself garnering the title of RRAC Player of the Week for those dates; this is the second eleventh weekly award. 

Washington had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Pilots Thursday win over Xavier 81-72 before posting 21 points and 8 rebounds against North American win Saturday the 20th. He was 14-of-23 shooting from the field for the week and 8-of-10 from the free throw line. The 12th-ranked Pilots remain tied for first in the RRAC with LSU Alexandria at 8-2 and an overall mark of 13-3.  

The Pilots will be back in action Thursday January 25th as they face conference rival LSU Alexandria. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm CT from Alexandria, Louisiana.
