Five LSUS Pilots Named NAIA All-Americans After Undefeated National Championship Season

SHREVEPORT, La. – Following an unprecedented 59-0 season capped off with a national championship title, five LSU Shreveport (LSUS) baseball student-athletes have been named to the 2025 NAIA Baseball All-American Teams. Josh Gibson, Draven Zeigler, and Isaac Rohde earned First Team All-American honors, while Cobe Reeves and Vantrel Reed were named to the Second Team.
This marks another achievement for the LSUS Pilots, who completed a perfect season and claimed the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series title in dominant fashion.
Josh Gibson, the Pilots' standout third baseman, anchored the infield with a .948 fielding percentage and led the offense with 71 RBIs and 55 stolen bases. At the plate, Gibson posted a .439 batting average, .534 on-base percentage, and a .693 slugging percentage. His stellar season earned him additional accolades, including RRAC Player of the Year and RRAC All-Conference First Team honors.
Isaac Rohde, a dominant force on the mound, went a perfect 16-0 with a 2.09 ERA, a 0.93 WHIP, and 107 strikeouts across 120 innings pitched. Rohde's precision and power helped secure his selection as the RRAC Pitcher of the Year and the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series MVP, in addition to his First Team All-American honor.
Joining him on the First Team is fellow starting pitcher Draven Zeigler, who posted a 13-0 record, 1.76 ERA, and 107 strikeouts in 87 innings. Zeigler recorded an impressive 11.07 strikeouts per nine innings and held opponents in check all season with a 0.93 WHIP. He was also named to the RRAC All-Conference First Team.
Cobe Reeves earned Second Team All-American honors after compiling a 12-0 record with a 2.10 ERA, 112 strikeouts, and a 1.10 WHIP over 85.2 innings pitched. Reeves also received RRAC All-Conference First Team and RRAC Gold Glove honors.
Vantrel Reed, the Pilots' dynamic second baseman, was named a Second Team All-American after posting a .378 batting average, .449 on-base percentage, 61 RBIs, 15 stolen bases, and a .568 slugging percentage. Reed was also selected to the RRAC All-Conference First Team and earned a RRAC Gold Glove distinction for his elite defensive play.
