Undefeated Pilots Soar to No. 1 in NAIA Top 25

Kansas City, MO – The LSU Shreveport (LSUS) Pilots have made history once again. After an electrifying 19-0 start to the season, LSUS has claimed the No. 1 spot in the first regular-season installment of the 2025 NAIA GoRout Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday.
The Pilots collected 14 first-place votes, climbing three spots from their preseason ranking to secure the program's first No. 1 ranking since 2012. This marks only the second time in the 35-year history of LSUS baseball that the Pilots have been ranked No. 1 and just the third occurrence among all the sports within the exceptional history of LSUS Athletics.
LSUS has dominated on both sides of the ball, boasting one of the most explosive offenses in the nation while showcasing a pitching staff that has kept opponents in check throughout their undefeated run. That dominance was on full display this past weekend, as left-hander Cobe Reeves delivered a historic performance on the mound, tossing a seven-inning no-hitter in the Pilots' 12-0 victory over LCU to complete a 3-0 series sweep.
LSUS will return to action on Thursday night as they open their series against Xavier University (La.) in New Orleans, La. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
