The sister schools battled hard at the plate from the bottom of the third through the top of the fifth, but neither team could score. The Pilots finally broke the tie in the bottom of the fifth however as Vantrel Reed singled up the middle scoring Aj Fritz. The Pilots added the final run of the game in the bottom of the sixth as Burkhart once again singled and scored Josh Gibson. The Pilots held the Generals through the ninth closing the game 4-2.
