ALEXANDRIA, La. – The field has been set for the 2025 Red River Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament, hosted by Louisiana State University of Alexandria, at the Laborde Earles Coliseum from February 28 to March 2.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
 
#1 Louisiana State University of Alexandria (25-2, 22-2 RRAC)
Louisiana State University of Alexandria enters the RRAC Tournament as the No. 1 Seed. The Generals were the first team in the NAIA to clinch an auto-bid to the NAIA Postseason with an 81-62 victory over Xavier (La.) on February 12.
 
The Generals were a perfect 13-0 at home in the regular season. It's the first time LSUA has been undefeated at home in the regular season since the 2016-17 season. On the road, LSUA finished the regular season with a record of 12-2.
 
LSUA averages 84.0 points per game and are allowing 69.6, a margin of +14.4. As a team, the Generals are knocking down 44.5% of their shots from the field, including 34.9% from long range. LSUA is out rebounding opponents 41.0 to 33.1, a margin of +7.8. The Generals also average 10.6 steals per game and 3.8 blocks per game.
 

Kashie Natt and E.J. McQuillen have been the spark plugs for the Purple and Gold during the campaign. Natt averages nearly 20 points per game, coming in at 19.3 with a shooting percentage of 48.0. He also averages a team-high 9.9 rebounds per game and leads the Generals in Steals (58) and blocks (25) - sharing the lead for blocks with Brayden Thompson. Natt has totaled 14 double-doubles on the season for LSUA. McQuillan is averaging 12.5 points per game, while shooting 40.7% from the floor. The final double-digit scorer is Jakemin Abney, who comes in at 10.0 points per game and is knocking down 47.2% of his chances. Isaiah Howard leads LSUA with 80 assists.
 
#2 Xavier University of Louisiana (20-8, 18-6 RRAC)
Xavier University of Louisiana enters the RRAC Championship having won four of the last five RRAC contests. They dropped their regular season finale, 82-78, to Southern University at New Orleans.
 
The Gold Rush were 11-2 at home during the regular season and 9-6 when playing on the road.
 
They average 73.7 points per game and are shooting 43.5% from the floor. From beyond the arc, the Gold Rush are converting at a clip of 34.3%. XULA is holding their opposition to 64.1 points per game, a margin of +9.6. They are also out rebounding their opponents, 38.3 to 34.9, a margin of +3.4.
 
Leading the Gold Rush's offense is Lance Williams. He averages 14.9 points per game and is shooting 46.5% percent from the field. From long range, he is converting at a clip of 41.1%. Williams leads the Gold Rush in assists with 109. Also in double digits are Seviuhn Turner (12.9) and James Weathers (11.3). Turner leads XULA with 47 steals, while Omarion Bodrick has a team-high 34 blocks. In the rebounding department, Corey Dunning is atop the XULA squad. He hauls in 6.6 rebounds per game. J'Quan Ewing is just behind him at 5.5.
 
#3 Our Lady of the Lake University (20-8, 16-8 RRAC)
Our Lady of the Lake University won its final two games of the regular season over Paul Quinn College, 86-78, and the University of the Southwest, 89-81. The Saints are 10-3 at home and 10-5 when playing on the road in 2024-25.
 
The Saints average 83.3 points per game and are shooting 47.3% from the floor as a team. OLLU is allowing 81.5 points per game. The Saints are a hair behind their opposition in rebounding, 37.9 to 37.7. They average 8.2 steals and 3.7 blocks per game.
 
Trey Law leads the Saints' offense, averaging 14.2 points per game. He is shooting 55.4% from the floor. Breion Powell (13.8) and Lonzo Rand (13.4) are also scoring in the double-digits. Powell has knocked down exactly half of his shots this season, while Rand is shooting 44.9%. Rob Gil has dished out a team-high 93 assists on the season. He also leads the Saints with 47 steals.
 
Powell leads the Saints in rebounding, hauling in 6.2 rebounds per game. Arthur Celestin (5.4) and Wahkil Lopez (5.0) round out OLLU's top three rebounders. Lopez has swatted a team-high 46 shots.
 
#4 Texas A&M-Texarkana (19-9, 16-8 RRAC)
Texas A&M-Texarkana won their final regular season game, 71-65, over North American University. The Eagles enter the tournament having won seven of their final eight games.
 
The Eagles are 13-2 on the season when playing at home and 6-7 when playing on the road. They average 79.8 points per game and are shooting 46.6% from the field. The Eagles allow 72.9 points per game and hold their opposition to a field goal percentage of 40.9. TAMUT holds a slim margin over their opponents in rebounding, 34.1 to 34.0.
 
Deovaunta Williams leads the Eagles' scoring efforts. He averages 13.8 points per game and is shooting 46.9% from the field. Daryl Houston (10.0) also averages double-digit points. He is shooting 52.8% from the floor. Payton Chism has dished out a team-high 87 assists and has an assist to turnover ratio of 1.9.
 
Williams leads the Eagles with 40 steals, while Raymond Moore has tallied a team-high 23 blocks. Houston leads TAMUT in rebounding, hauling in 5.8 rebounds per game. He is averaging 2.0 offensive rebounds per game.
 
#5 Louisiana State University of Shreveport (18-10, 15-9 RRAC)
Louisiana State University of Shreveport closed the regular season with a bang, upsetting No. 1 LSU Alexandria, 101-96. LSUS has won their last three games and six of their last seven.
 
The Pilots posted a 13-2 record at home during the regular season and were 5-8 when playing on the road.
 
LSU Shreveport averages 87.9 points per game and is shooting 41.4% from the floor. From beyond the arc, they knock down shots at a clip of 41.3%. The Pilots allow 81.3 points per game, a scoring margin of +6.3. They are being out rebounded by their opponents, 33.3 to 38.3, a margin of -5.0.
 
Taj Anderson leads the Pilots, and the RRAC, in scoring. He averages 20.2 points per game and is shooting 51.9% from the field with a 44.7% mark from three-point land. Davion Coleman (14.4), Trey Boston (12.6), Tyler Washington (11.6) and Melvion Flanagan (10.1) also contribute double-digit points. Coleman is knocking down over half his shots, converting 52.5% of the time. Boston (48.9), Hill (48.7), and Washington (48.2) aren't far behind. Boston lead the Pilots with 113 assists. Anderson has a team-high 57 steals, while Washington leads the Pilots with 23 blocks. Washington also leads LSUS in rebounding, hauling in 5.7 rebounds per game. Meikkel Murray is in second, tallying 4.8 boards per game.
 
#6 Louisiana Christian University (15-13, 14-10 RRAC)
Louisiana Christian University enters the tournament having won the last four games. The Wildcats closed the season with a pair of wins over Texas College, taking the season finale on the road, 80-72.
 
The Wildcats are 7-5 at home and 8-8 when playing on the road. They average 72.8 points per game and are shooting 43.2% from the field. The Wildcats are allowing 71.0 points per game with their opposition shooting 43.4% from the field. LCU averages 12.8 assists per game, 7.6 steals, and 2.9 blocks. They hold a +2.4 margin over their opponents in rebounding, 36.2 to 33.8.
 
Devin Carter leads the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 19.9 points per game. He is shooting 38.8% from the field, including knocking down 37.8% of his shots from long range. Bryce Weinmunson is also averaging more than 10 points per game, tallying 11.4. He is shooting 43.0% from the floor and 41.9% from deep. Weinmunson leads the Wildcats with 65 assists, while Drew Tebbe is right behind him with 62. Tebbe has the best assists to turnover ratio on the LCU roster at 2.48. He averages less than one turnover per game.
 
In the rebounding department, Chukwuemeke Nwaoshai leads LCU with 6.8 rebounds per game. Nwaoshai also leads the Wildcats with 30 blocks. Weinmunson leads the Wildcats with 56 steals.
 
#7 University of the Southwest (N.M.) (15-12, 12-12 RRAC)
University of the Southwest (N.M.) split its final two games of the regular season. The Mustangs are 9-5 at home and 6-7 when playing on the road.
 
The Mustangs are averaging 83.6 points per game and are shooting 47.2% from the field. They are allowing 73.5 points per game. The Mustangs hold a +4.1 margin over their opposition in rebounding, 35.2 to 31.1.
 
Jacob Koontz leads the Mustangs' offense, averaging 14.4 points per game. He is shooting 55% percent from the floor and 72.8% from the free throw line. Koontz also leads Southwest in rebounding, hauling in 6.2 rebounds per game. Anthony Scott (11.3), Rahkiem Petterson (11.1), and James Evans (10.8) are all scoring at a double-digit clip. Evans and Petterson are both knocking down over half their shots at rates of 53.4% and 53.2%, respectively. Scott has been sent to the free throw line for 136 shots and has made 110 of them, a success rate of 80.9%.
 
Scott leads the Mustangs with 97 assists and 60 steals. Evans has recorded a team-high 12 blocks.
 
#8 Huston-Tillotson University (10-16, 10-14 RRAC)
Huston-Tillotson University enters the RRAC Tournament riding a four-game winning streak. In their last four games, the Rams took down Texas College, Texas A&M-Texarkana, and Jarvis Christian. The two wins over Jarvis Christian helped jump the Rams into the eighth seed.
 
The Rams average 65.4 points per game and are shooting 39.5% from the floor. HTU allows 71.5 points per game. They have a -2.5 rebounding margin, 33.9 to 36.4. The Rams have recorded 267 steals and 93 blocks.
 
Charles Hallmon leads the Rams' offense, averaging 13.0 points per game. He is shooting 51.1% from the field. Hallmon also leads the Rams in rebounding, hauling in 8.5 boards per game, and has recorded a team-high 41 steals. Cade Holzman is also averaging double digits in scoring, coming in at 10.5 points per game in the 13 games he has appeared in this season. All 13 games came in 2025. Holzman is shooting 54.5% from the field. Braelon Seals is the most prolific three-point shooter on the Rams' roster. He has knocked down 36 shots from range in 119 attempts.
 
Jayce Wright has dished out a team-high 75 assists on the season. Khuath Gatkuoth has swatted 19 shots, a team-high, while appearing in just 14 games.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
 
#1 Louisiana State University of Shreveport (24-3, 23-1 RRAC)
Louisiana State University of Shreveport secured the RRAC Regular Season Championship with a 62-61 victory over in-state rival LSU Alexandria in their regular season finale.
 
The Pilots have won 19 straight games coming into the RRAC Tournament. LSUS finished 12-1 at home, 12-0 on the road, and 0-2 when playing in neutral site contests.
 
LSU Shreveport averages 73.1 points per game and is shooting 43.9% from the floor, including a 32.9% mark from beyond the three-point line. Defensively, the Pilots allow just 52.4 points per game and hold their opposition to a shooting percentage of 32.0%.
 
Leading the Pilots' offense is Selma Markisic, who averages 13.0 points per game. She is shooting 42.8% on the season and knocking down 23.3% of her chances from long range. Helena Galunic (11.6) and Paula Gonzalez Herrero (11.2) are also putting up double-digit averages. Galunic is shooting 47.7% from the field, and leads LSUS in rebounding with 179 total boards, while Gonzalez Herrero is knocking down 44.1% of her chances. Alexis Brown leads the Pilots with 87 assists. Erynn Williams has recorded a team-high 79 steals. Vicky Parra has swatted away 34 shots during the campaign thus far.
 
LSUS out rebounds its opponents 38.5 to 34.8 on the season.
 
#2 Xavier University of Louisiana (26-2, 22-2 RRAC)
Xavier University of Louisiana enters the tournament after winning their last two games over Southwest (N.M.), 96-70, and Dillard University, 64-63. XULA has won eight of their last nine games.
 
The Gold Nuggets are 13-1 when playing at home and 13-1 when playing on the road. They won their first 16 games of Red River Athletic Conference play.
 
Xavier (La.) averages 73.7 points per game and are shooting 40.6% from the field. XULA has recorded 452 assists on the season. They are holding opponents to just 58.6 points per game, a margin of +15.1. The Gold Nuggets also have a +7 rebounding margin over their opponents, 44.6 to 37.6, and have totaled 330 steals.
 
Leading the Gold Nuggets' offense is Kam Shelley, who averages 14.3 points per game. She is shooting 38.3% from the floor and 31.1% from long range. Shelley is XULA's most prolific three-point shooter, in both makes and attempts, going 51-for-164 from beyond the arc. Lauren Banks (13.0) and Joy Campbell (10.8) also average double-digit scoring efforts. Campbell is knocking down shots at a rate of 42.6% on the season. She leads her squad in assists by a wide margin, dishing out 156 on the year. The next two players have a combined 96 assists. It's the same story in steals, Campbell has recorded 91 on the season, nearly double the closest player. Zarla Harleaux leads XULA's rebounding efforts, hauling in 5.9 rebounds per game. Harleaux also leads XULA with 20 blocks. Patricia Sosa Lora has recorded 135 rebounds on the season, but has appeared in 18 of the Gold Nuggets' 27 games.
 
#3 Louisiana State University of Alexandria (21-7, 17-6 RRAC)
Louisiana State University of Alexandria had an eight-game winning streak from January 7 to February 15, before going 2-2 over the final four games of the season. The eight-game heater allowed them to separate themselves from a congested middle of the conference and secure the three-seed.
 
LSUA finished the season with a home record of 11-3 and a mark of 10-4 when playing away from The Fort.
 
The Generals average 70.0 points per game and are shooting 40.8% from the field. They are allowing 64.4 points per game. LSUA has a +5.8 rebounding margin on the season, out rebounding their opposition 41.3 to 35.5.
 
Leading the Generals' offense are a quartet of seniors. Dannah Martin-Hartwick leads the group, averaging 13.3 points per game. Jewel Jones (12.6), Benedetta Peracchi (12.3) and Amani Gray (10.1) are all putting up double-digit points. Peracchi leads LSUA in shooting, knocking down 50.8% of her shots on the season. Jones leads the Generals in assists with 73 and is just seven points away from hitting 1,000 for her career. Gray hit 1,000 points earlier this season in a game at Louisiana Christian. She also set the LSUA single game record for blocks with five against Paul Quinn College. In the rebounding department, Peracchi has the lead with an average of 8.1 boards per game. She also leads the Generals with 17 blocks, while Martin-Hartwick holds the team lead in steals with 35.
 
#4 Texas A&M-San Antonio (17-11, 14-10 RRAC)
Texas A&M-San Antonio won their final game of the regular season, 76-66, over Paul Quinn College - halting a four-game skid.
 
The Jaguars are 10-4 this season at home, 6-7 when playing on the road, and are 1-0 in neutral site contests. TAMUSA averages 76.8 points per game and are shooting 38.3% from the floor. The Jaguars are allowing 74.1 points per game, a margin of +2.7. They are being out rebounded 49.7 to 35.4, a margin of -14.3. The Jaguars average 14.1 assists per game, 12.5 steals, and 3.8 blocks.
 
Evelyn Lorenzo leads the Jaguars in scoring, averaging 18.3 points per game. She is shooting 40.7% from the floor and 33.7% from long range. Just behind Lorenzo is Natalia Trevino at 18.2 points per game. Trevino is shooting 41.9% from the floor and 33.9% from three-point land. Maya Simon rounds out the double-digit scorers for the Jaguars, coming in at 10.9 points per game. Simon is knocking down 39.7% of her shots on the season. Lorenzo leads the Jaguars with 118 assists.
 
Trevino leads TAMUSA in rebounding, hauling in 5.6 rebounds per game. Talaiyah Andrews is just behind her at 5.1 boards per game. Trevino also has a team-high 84 steals. Emily Carranco sits atop the Jaguars' roster with 25 blocks.
 
#5 Huston-Tillotson University (13-14, 12-12 RRAC)
Huston-Tillotson University enters the tournament as winners of their last four contests. The Rams recorded a pair of wins over Jarvis Christian and wins over Texas College and Texas A&M-Texarkana.
 
The Rams are 7-7 on the season when playing at home, 5-7 when on the road, and are 1-0 in neutral site contests. HTU averages 62.3 points per game and are shooting 33.6% from the field. They are allowing 66.9 points per game, a margin of -4.6. The Rams have a rebounding margin of -1.6, 41.6 to 43.0. They average 12.7 assists per game, 9.8 steals, and 5.5 blocks.
 
Wilashia Burleson leads the Rams' scoring, averaging 12.7 points per game. She is shooting 45.3% from the field. Summer Thomas (12.1), Aliyah Carter (11.5), and Destiny Crawford (10.2) are also scoring in the double digits. Thomas is shooting 38.5% from the floor, while Carter is knocking down 34.9% of her shots. Carter has a team-high 116 assists. She also leads the Rams with 55 steals.
 
In the rebounding department, Burleson hauls in a team-high 7.7 boards per game. Thomas (6.6) and Carter (6.3) round out the top three rebounders. Tyaija Coleman has swatted a team-high 34 blocks on the season.
 
#6 Louisiana Christian University (10-16, 10-14 RRAC)
Louisiana Christian University enters the RRAC Tournament having lost their last two games of the regular season, a pair of overtime games against Texas College. Prior to that, the Wildcats had won four consecutive games.
 
The Wildcats are 4-8 when playing at home this season and are 6-8 when playing on the road. They are averaging 67.6 points per game and allowing 72.3, a margin of -4.7. The Wildcats are shooting 38.3% as a unit. They hold a +4.5 rebounding margin over their opponents, 43.7 to 39.3. LCU averages 11.6 assists per game, 8.7 steals, and 4.4 blocks.
 
Princis Goff leads the Wildcats' offense, averaging 19.7 points per game. She is shooting 43.3% from the field and 81% at the free throw line. McKayla Price is averaging 10.2 points per game and shooting 40.8% from the floor. Just under 10 points per game is Kylei Leblanc (9.0) who is converting 50.8% of her chances this season. Goff also leads the Wildcats in assists (61) and steals (46).
 
Leblanc holds the team lead in rebounding, hauling down 7.9 rebounds per game. Goff is right behind her with 7.6. Leblanc also leads LCU with 40 blocks on the season. Leblanc and Goff have combined for 69 of the Wildcats' 114 blocks during the campaign.
 
#7 University of the Southwest (N.M.) (14-14, 10-14 RRAC)
The University of the Southwest (N.M.) won its final two games of the regular seaon on the road over Texas A&M-San Antonio, 97-89, and Our Lady of the Lake, 66-65.
 
The Mustangs are 9-7 on the season when playing at home and 5-7 when on the road. They average 70.9 points per game and are shooting 38.4% from the field. From deep, the Mustangs are knocking down 32.3% of their shots. They average 17 assists per game, 10.1 steals, and 2.3 blocks. Southwest allows 67.9 points per game and out rebound their opposition 38.6 to 37.6.
 
Milinda Arguellez leads the Mustangs' offense. She is averaging 14.6 points per game and shooting 43.9% from the floor. Briana Montoya is second in scoring, averaging 13.0 points per game with a shooting percentage of 41.0. She has been the Mustangs' best three-point shooter, knocking down 39.8% of her chances from long range. Celina Celaya has a team-high 116 assists.
 
Arguellez leads the Mustangs in rebounding and steals, as well. She has recorded a team-high 54 steals and averages 5.5 rebounds per game. Beverly Bradley is just off the lead, tallying 5.4 boards per night. Karinna Ortiz has a team-high 12 blocks with Arguellez one block away.
 
#8 Paul Quinn College (11-16, 10-14 RRAC)
Paul Quinn College split the final two games of the regular season. The Tigers recorded a 70-61 victory over Our Lady of the Lake before falling in their regular season finale, 76-66, to Texas A&M-San Antonio.
 
The Tigers are 5-8 when playing at home in 2024-25 and 6-8 when playing on the road. They average 65.3 points per game and are shooting 37% from the floor. PQC allows 69.3 points per game. They are being out rebounded by a margin of -5.9, 37.3 to 43.2. The Tigers average 13.1 assists per game, 11 steals, and 2.1 blocks.
 
Leading the Tigers' offense is Canai McPherson. She is averaging 17.6 points per game and shooting 37.3% from the floor. Zaire Brown (10.6) and Cierra Taylor (10.2) are also averaging 10 or more points per game. Taylor leads the Tigers with 86 assists.
 
Brown leads Paul Quinn in rebounding, hauling in 9.3 rebounds per game. Adrianna Belton sits in second, tallying 6.4 boards per game. McPherson holds the team lead in steals with 61. Brown also leads the Tigers with 26 blocks.
