Dallas, Texas—In a dominant performance on the soccer field, the LSU Shreveport Pilots triumphed over the Paul Quinn Tigers with a resounding 9-0 victory. With the win the Pilots move to an overall record of 9-4-1 and a conference record of 7-2.
The Pilots wasted no time establishing their lead, with Kevin Sithole scoring a lightning-fast goal just 46 seconds into the first half. Jack Thomas added to their advantage, netting two goals and sending the Pilots into halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead. The Tigers were outshot 17-1 in the first half, highlighting the Pilots' offensive superiority.
The second half continued in the same vein, as the Pilots piled on six more goals. Alex Charles, Jack Strachan, David Dancetovic, Brandon Gasper, David Vejsmose, and Bernardo Pacheco all contributed to the scoring frenzy, further solidifying the Pilot's stats. The Tigers could only manage one shot in the second half, while the Pilots dominated with a 12-1 shot advantage.
This 9-0 victory showcased the Pilots' exceptional skill and determination, leaving no doubt about their standing as a formidable force in the world of soccer.
The Pilots will be back in action Saturday October 21st as they take on the Eagles of Texas A&M Texarkana. Kick off is set for 7:30pm CT from Texarkana, Texas.
